- While Joy was a Christian, I really don’t wouldn’t call her an Evangelical.
- The narrator seems to place the timing of Joy’s cancer after they’re engaged.
- Jack wanted to call off the wedding and Joy argued him back into it using the “That’s the deal” speech from Shadowlands?!
- Jack severely grieved after Joy’s death, sure, but he was in “suicidal despair”?!
